On June 14th, 2020, IRebuild Africa had the privilege of visiting the Bafut Women’s Association, a group of inspiring women who are working hard to improve their lives and their community. We were warmly welcomed by the association’s president, Mrs. Njikam, who shared with us their vision and achievements.
Our team delivered a talk on “Developing a problem-solving mindset as a tool to empowering yourself, the Right mindset for empowerment and staying consistent in building ourselves”. We discussed how to identify and overcome the challenges that women face in their daily lives, how to cultivate a positive attitude and a growth mindset, and how to set realistic and achievable goals. We also shared some practical tips and strategies on how to stay motivated and focused on our dreams.
The talk was very interactive and engaging, as the women asked many questions and shared their own experiences and insights. We learned a lot from them and we were impressed by their enthusiasm and determination. We also had some fun activities and games that helped us bond and have a good time.
We are very grateful to the Bafut Women’s Association for hosting us and for their participation. We hope that our talk was helpful and inspiring for them and that they will continue to pursue their goals with confidence and passion. We look forward to collaborating with them again in the future.
