We are a women-centered organization whose mission is to equip and empower single mothers, young women, and girls disadvantaged young girls and vulnerable women through wealth creation, Education, and the fight against Gender-Based Violence.
Our Projects
Girls Empowerment Program
The Girls Empowerment Program (GEP) is an annual Girls-orientated Educational and Engagement Program that brings together young adolescent girls between the ages of 11 – 19. GEP was launched in 2020 to empower teenage girls with positive life skills and reached out to 500+ teenage age girls. GEP helps teenage girls to make healthy decisions and provide structures to keep them active and away from risky behavior.
Skilful Ladies Initiative
The Skillful Ladies Initiative (SLI) is a transformative program empowering vulnerable single mothers and women through income-generating activities like pastry making, hairdressing, and more. With small grants as start-up capital, SLI has positively impacted the lives of over 200 women, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge in business management for financial self-reliance and long-term empowerment
Keep Her Safe
Keep Her Safe is a program that runs in schools and communities. It is a Gender-based Violence prevention and response project which educates and engages community members and schools to create a safe space for young girls. We inform students on forms of school-related violence and comprehensive Sexual education as well as train school staff on how to handle such cases.
Who We Are
IRebuild Africa is a women-centered not-for-profit making organization headquartered in Buea. IRebuild Africa operates in Cameroon in general and the South-West Region, Northwest and center Region in particular.
IRebuild Africa empowers single mothers, disadvantaged girls and women, and out-of-school girls through Education, Wealth creation, and the fight against Gender-Based Violence. The organization started in 2017 and was fully registered in 2020 under the ministry of Territorial Administration with registration number No.0000193/ARDA/JO6/ALPAS/APPB
